DAY 1 Departure from Ankara

We will meet in front of the Kızılay Office at 22:00 in the evening, and after picking up our esteemed guests from the specified points, we will start our journey.

DAY 2

AMASYA-FERHAT AND SHIRIN LOVERS MUSEUM – II. BAYEZID COMPLEX – HAZERANLAR MANSION – YEŞILIRMAK – SAMSUN – BANDIRMA STEAMER – TOBACCO PIER

Dear guests, In the morning we arrive in the city of Princes, Amasya. After a wonderful breakfast worthy of our esteemed guests, we start our tour at the Park of Lovers, which has become the symbol of the city. We will see the Ferhat Water Canals, which are believed to date back to the Hellenistic period and were created by Ferhat through the mountains to reunite with Shirin, and the symbolic statues at the Ferhat and Shirin Lovers Museum. Then we pass to the center of Amasya to visit the Sultan II. Bayezid Complex, built in 1485 under Sultan II. Bayezid, which includes a mosque, madrasa, soup kitchen, tomb, fountain, and water fountain. After visiting the complex, we will take photos at the Hazeranlar Mansion, a classic Ottoman mansion built in 1865. We will examine the overhanging houses of Yalı Boyu Evler along the Yeşilırmak river. Later, we reach Samsun, where the national struggle began, via Havza. We have a lunch break. After our break, we head to Kurtuluş Park where we can see a life-size model of Bandırma Steamer on the sea. We will have an impressive tour along with wax figures and period reflections. We visit Tobacco Pier, the place where Atatürk took his first step to Samsun with 18 comrades and friends. After taking our group photo and having the free time given by our guide, we leave Samsun and arrive at Ünye in Ordu through Yeşilırmak and Çarşamba. Then, to unwind after the first day, we transfer to our 5-star hotel located in the same position, where we can see the beautiful shades of green and blue together, accompanied by the view of the Black Sea.

DAY 3

ORDU CENTER - ORDU BOZTEPE - GIRESUN CENTER - GIRESUN HAZELNUT SHOPPING - TRABZON HAGIA SOPHIA MUSEUM & MOSQUE – ATATÜRK MANSION - SUMELA MONASTERY – HAMSIKÖY - ZIGANA

Dear guests, After having an open buffet breakfast at our hotel, we leave the hotel and head to Ordu. Then we take a cable car to Boztepe, which is 475 meters above sea level and offers views of Ordu and the sea. We take wonderful photos while enjoying the beautiful views we see and have a tea and coffee break. Afterward, we arrive in Giresun, known as the homeland of cherries and the capital of hazelnuts. Here, we can purchase hazelnut paste, hazelnuts, etc. and taste them as Giresun produces the world’s most oily and high-quality hazelnuts. Following this, we drive along the seaside road and start exploring the Black Sea. We move to Trabzon, the first city that comes to mind when mentioning the Black Sea. First, we visit the Trabzon Hagia Sophia Mosque & Museum, which was converted into a mosque after Fatih Sultan Mehmet conquered Trabzon in 1461. Then, we visit Atatürk Mansion and listen to our guide's explanation. After lunch in the center of Trabzon, we head to the Sumela Monastery (Meryem Ana Monastery), located within the Altındere National Park, which we will visit, known for its mythical story about two monks, Barnabas and Sophhronios, who built it. After taking photos of the magnificent view, we return to our vehicles. Next, we head to the famous Hamsiköy to taste its renowned rice pudding. Then we return to our hotel to have dinner and relax for the night, moving towards our accommodation located in the Zigana mountains.

DAY 4

UZUNGÖL - UZUNGÖL - CRYSTAL VIEW TERRACE - LUSTRA AND KARESTER PLATEAUS - TEA FACTORY - SURMENE KNIFE FACTORY

Dear guests, After having an open buffet breakfast at our hotel, we board our vehicle and head towards Uzungöl through Of – Dernekpazarı - Çaykara - along Solaklı creek to enjoy the picturesque scenery until we reach Uzungöl, located 1090 meters above sea level. After the guide's narration, guests are welcome to take minibuses to visit the Crystal Viewing Terrace and Garester Plateau.(EXTRA). Guests who don't want to join the tour can enjoy a cup of tea/coffee in the relaxing nature surrounding Uzungöl, or have a nice time with biking or walking around. Guests who choose the tour can also enjoy these activities during their free time. We meet at the agreed time set by our guide and have our lunch at a famous pide restaurant in Sürmene. Afterwards, we visit a tea factory, which is located among tea gardens, where Karadeniz's main source of livelihood comes from. We learn how green leaf tea comes to our table as black and dry through entertaining kemençe and horon performances and views provided by engineers and locals. During tea tasting for different varieties, we will have the opportunity to buy tea through special campaign offers offered to our groups. After visiting the tea factory, we go to the well-known Surmene Knife Factory, where we will learn how it gained its fame and how it is made from local residents. After that, our guests can examine and purchase knives, blades, swords, etc. Once the time given by our guide is up, we return to our hotel to unwind. We will check in early at our hotel so that guests can freely enjoy hotel amenities (such as the gym, swimming pool, beach, hamam, sauna, etc.). Dinner will be an open buffet at the hotel.

DAY 5

RIZE - ÇAMLIHEMŞİN - FIRTINA VALLEY - KEMER BRIDGES (KALE, HALA, MIKRON BRIDGES) 

OSMANLI BRIDGE - RAFTING AND ZIPLINE ACTIVITIES - ZILKALE - PALOVIT WATERFALL - AYDER PLATEAU - GELINTULU WATERFALL – POKUT PLATEAU

Dear guests, After having an open buffet breakfast at our hotel, we arrive in Rize, one of the most important centers between the high mountain slopes and the Black Sea coast. After our guide's narrative, we take a short break before heading towards Fırtına Valley. Here we will take photos with picturesque arches like Mikron – Hala – Osmanlı Bridges. Next, we will participate in the iconic Rafting Activity and Zipline Activity. We will have our lunch break at a restaurant offering the best local dishes. (Extra) After lunch, guests who want can take small vehicles to visit Zilkale, consisting of 8 bulwarks and a watchtower, built during the period of the Trabzon Empire. After a delightful drive through the Fırçına Valley towards Ayder Plateau, we reach Ayder Plateau. Here, after the guide explains about the Gelintülü Waterfall and Ayder Plateau, we will explore the area from above. Finally, we will ascend to Pokut Plateau, one of the most beautiful highlands of the Black Sea, standing at an altitude of 2075m, providing a breathtaking view above the clouds. (Extra) At the end of this entertaining and activity-filled day, we head towards the best hotel in the area for dinner and rest.

DAY 6

MENÇUNE WATERFALL – DOUBLE BRIDGE - ARTVIN BORÇKA – KARAGÖL - ÇORUH RIVER - CRYSTAL TERRACE RIZE CLOTH - *BATUM

Dear guests, After our open buffet breakfast at the hotel, we head towards Arhavi. After a trip of about an hour, we board minibuses to visit the natural wonder Mençuna Waterfall (Extra). After getting off the minibus, we walk for about 2 km, and Mençuna Waterfall greets us. We provide free time for sightseeing and taking photos. After refreshing here, we continue to discover the plateaus of the Black Sea. Passing through Hopa, we reach Double Bridges, which has 95% being covered by forests and hosts one of the richest ecosystems in Turkey in terms of tree species. After our guide’s explanation, we take some time to share photos. We then continue our journey along the Çoruh River and head to Borçka. After our lunch break, we take minibuses to reach Karaköl, surrounded by an ecosystem similar to rainforest, situated 1430 meters above sea level in the Karçal mountains. (EXTRA) During our visit to Karagöl, guests may have a peaceful sailing experience or enjoy coffee/tea at the Karagöl cafeteria. After visiting Karagöl, we return to Borçka, where we stop at the newly built Crystal Terrace for a photo op overlooking the Çoruh River. Following this, we visit the Rize Cloth shopping center, where local crafts are sold, offering guests the opportunity for souvenirs. Then we leave for our 5-star hotel to unwind, relax, and enjoy dinner.

*NOTE: For your health, the Batum tour will be optional. Guests wishing to go will undergo PCR TEST at Sarp border crossing and will be subject to an outgoing charge – processing. The Batum tour will be conducted depending on whether there is still a risk of Covid-19 transmission and whether the border entry-exit process does not cause significant delays.

The price will be determined based on the number of guests participating in the tour. (The Batum tour cost is not included in the price. Extra)

Guests not wanting to go to Batum will be taken to Mençuna Waterfall. (Extra)

DAY 7

TORTUM WATERFALL – ERZURUM - DOUBLE MINARET MEDRESE – THREE TUMULI - RÜSTEM PASHA INN - RETURN TO GAZIANTEP  

Dear guests, After our open buffet breakfast at the hotel, we set out towards Erzurum, known as the homeland of Dadaşlar. We arrive at Tortum Waterfall, the highest waterfall in Turkey. After sightseeing and taking photos, we arrive in Erzurum. Following our panoramic city tour, we will visit the Double Minaret Medrese, Yakutiye Medrese, and Three Tumuli with our guide's narrative. Afterwards, we will have shopping opportunities for Oltu stone etc., at Rüstem Paşa Kervansaray, also known as Taşhan. We will enjoy lunch at Erzurum's famous cağ kebab restaurant. Afterward, we set out for Ankara. We bid farewell to our guests.
