1. Day: ADIYAMAN
After meeting our guide waiting for us at the airport, we head to Kahta. On the way, we visit the Karakuş Tumulus, built by Antiochus for his mother Isias, known as Karakuş Hill, and then we gradually make our way to the Cendere Bridge, built by the Romans. After taking a photo at the entrance of Kahta Castle, we explore Arsemia, the summer capital of the Commagene Kingdom, and then we ascend to Nemrut. We receive information from our guide about the tomb and the god statues built by the young and powerful King Antiochus to witness the sunrise and sunset beneath the sun's feet. You will never forget the sunset in this magical place where the sun sets most beautifully in the world. We proceed to our hotel in Şanlıurfa for accommodation.
2.DAY: ŞANLIURFA-GÖBEKLİTEPE:
After breakfast at our hotel, we start our sightseeing.
HALIL-ÜR RAHMAN MOSQUE – AYN ZELIHA (BALIKLI GÖL) – RIZVANİYE MOSQUE and the cave where Hz. Ibrahim was born, Sipahi Market, Kazzaz Market, Hacı Kamil Inn, Hüseyiniye Bazaar, Naccar Market, Historical Customs Inn, Ulucami and Kitchen Museum are our visit sites, followed by the archaeological museum and the mosaic museum. Afterward, we head to Göbeklitepe. Following that, the road will take us to Göbeklitepe, one of the most significant archaeological discoveries in human history, dating back 12,000 years and deeply shaking the truths of known written history, believed to be the first pilgrimage center. "Göbeklitepe, one of the oldest known temples based on the work done until today, is located in the Mesopotamia region. Göbeklitepe provides important data regarding religious beliefs in hunter-gatherer societies. As we will address Göbeklitepe architecturally and sociologically, it enlightens us about the religious symbols, technology, and sciences of the people of that era, along with how they might create a sacred space to experience their groundbreaking beliefs. Afterward, we return to our hotel for accommodation.
3.DAY: HALFETİ - HARRAN
After breakfast at the hotel, we will head to Harran. On our way, we will see the cave where Hz. Eyyüb endured his trials before arriving at Harran. Here, we will see the walls, the inner castle, the conical-shaped houses, and the world's first Islamic university before heading towards Halfeti. On the way, we will stop by the Birecik district, where the endangered ibises are under protection. We will try to get to know Halfeti, known as Şitamrat by the Assyrians. Another feature of Halfeti is that it is the only place in the world where the black rose can grow. We will take a boat trip to see the remains of the structures inside the water cistern, like the Rum Castle, where Hz. Paulus, the apostle of Jesus, multiplied the Gospel, before we proceed to the airport to send our guests off.
