The Western Black Sea Tour invites you to a completely different world amidst lush forests, turbulent waves, and coastal towns intertwined with history. On this journey, departing from Istanbul in our comfortable vehicle, you will discover the hidden beauties of the Black Sea while getting to know the tranquility of nature and the warm locals.
Among our first stops is Safranbolu, famous for its wooden Ottoman mansions. In this historical town, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage list, you will walk through cobbled streets, see centuries-old inns, baths, and bazaars, and take a short journey into the past amidst the scents of lokum and saffron. After Safranbolu, we turn our direction towards the lush nature and embark on peaceful walks among waterfalls, lakes, and national parks.

Another unforgettable route of our tour is the coastal towns hidden along the Black Sea. Important information
The tour program typically covers historical and natural sites in the Western Black Sea region such as Safranbolu, Amasra, İnebolu, and Kastamonu; reviewing detailed itineraries and accommodation information in advance is recommended: By checking which day the tour will visit which city or site, the order of places to be visited, and the hotels where you will stay, you can clarify your expectations. This way, you can plan your free time and communicate with the guide in advance if you have specific places you want to see.
Weather conditions can vary depending on the season; it is advisable to bring a raincoat, comfortable walking shoes, a light jacket/layered clothing, and spare clothes: In the Western Black Sea region, the weather can suddenly turn rainy or cool, so layered clothing makes it easier to adapt to both warm and cool weather. Comfortable walking shoes and spare clothes will keep you comfortable during long walks and in case of getting wet.
The departure and return times and meeting point (bus station, certain stops, etc.) should be confirmed with the tour company, and participants should be ready at least 15-20 minutes before departure: Since there may be changes to the departure times, obtaining final confirmation from the tour company prevents delays or confusion. Arriving early allows for peaceful organization of seating, luggage arrangement, and initial briefing with the guide.
It should be clearly clarified what is included in the price (transportation, accommodation, guiding, entrance fees to museums/archaeological sites, meals) and what expenses are not included (personal expenses, extra tours, meals): Being aware of which services are included in the tour package helps you avoid surprise additional costs. It is particularly important to find out in advance whether museum entrances, lunch/dinner, and extra activities are included, to plan your budget accordingly.
Since there may be demanding walking routes with slopes and stairs (canyons, viewing terraces, old bazaars) throughout the tour, it is recommended that participants consider their health status: Access to historical streets, canyon crossings, and viewing points often requires navigating stairways or inclined paths. It is important for those with heart, blood pressure, knee, or hip issues to assess their physical readiness for such routes and consult their physician if necessary.
Bringing chargers for cameras/phones, a power bank, and, if necessary, a small backpack with your personal medications will provide a comfortable tour experience: As you will be outside all day, keeping your devices charged throughout the day will help you continuously capture your memories. Carrying a small backpack with water, snacks, a raincoat, and personal medications offers great advantages in terms of both safety and practicality.
