We will take you to Göbeklitepe, one of the most important archaeological discoveries in human history, dating back about 12,000 years, which deeply shakes the accuracy of recorded history and is believed to be the first pilgrimage center. "As a result of studies carried out to date, Göbeklitepe, one of the oldest known temples, is located in the Mesopotamia region. Göbeklitepe provides important data on the religious beliefs of hunter-gatherer societies. Examining it architecturally and then socio-economically, Göbeklitepe gives information about how a sacred space could be created so that the people of that period could live their beliefs, which would defy convention, and it enlightens us about their religion, religious symbols, technology and sciences. Accompanied by our guide's commentary, we leave Göbeklitepe, visit the Archaeology Museum where the artifacts from Göbeklitepe are exhibited, and then head toward Balıklıgöl. Our tour points here are HALİL-UR RAHMAN MOSQUE – AYN ZELİHA (BALIKLI LAKE) – RIZVANİYE MOSQUE and the cave where Prophet Abraham was born, Sipahi Market, Kazzaz Market, Hacı Kamil Inn, Hüseyiniye Bazaar, Naccar Market, Historic Customs Inn, Ulucami and the Kitchen Museum we visit and tour, followed by a visit to the archaeology museum and the mosaic museum, then a visit to the historic bazaar (here we visit the isot shop, where local people both make their living and where isot, salça and dried produce, integrated with Urfa, are sold. Here we receive information about isot and do a tasting test), and we conclude our tour.
