Tour Detail
1 Night 2 Days
Blending the modern city fabric with history, the 'Eskişehir Bursa Tour' offers an ideal getaway for culture, cuisine, and nature enthusiasts to discover two neighboring beauties together. Throughout the tour, you will glide along the Porsuk River by gondola while walking through the heart of the Ottoman Empire intertwined with history.
Our first stop is Eskişehir, known as 'Turkey's Little Venice.' After a stroll among the cafes and colorful buildings along the Porsuk River, you can see a different side of the city with a gondola or boat tour. Then, we will move on to Odunpazarı, which catches attention with its restored old houses, art workshops, and boutique shops. Here, you can visit the wax statue museums that have become the symbol of Eskişehir and get to know the unique craftsmanship of the local Lületaşı (meerschaum).

In the afternoon, we head to Sazova Park, famous for its fairy-tale castle, where we enjoy pleasant walks around the lake, and those who wish can explore the Fairy Tale Castle and Pirate Ship. We complete our Eskişehir tour with free time before heading to Bursa for dinner and overnight accommodation.
On the second day, we step into the historical scene in Bursa, the first capital of the Ottoman Empire. In this city, which hosts every shade of green, we first take a panoramic city tour to see the historical structure from above. We then stop at the Ulu Mosque in the heart of Bursa and stroll through streets that open up to the past among the bazaars.

Important information
The tour program is usually planned with 1-2 nights of accommodation in Eskişehir and Bursa; please check the exact number of days and nights, departure times, and departure points in advance: The duration of tour programs, departure times, and departure points may vary by tour company, so checking this information in detail before making a reservation helps avoid potential confusion. This way, you can comfortably arrange your work and personal life plans and also reduce the risk of encountering unexpected surprises on the day of the tour.
In Eskişehir, typical stops include Odunpazarı Houses, Porsuk River, and Sazova Science and Cultural Park; in Bursa, stops often include the Great Mosque, Koza Han, Tophane, Cumalıkızık, and Uludağ, though the content may vary depending on the tour company: These stops in Eskişehir and Bursa usually reflect the historical texture, natural beauty, and cultural richness of the cities, so they are included in most tour programs. However, since each tour company's itinerary and the time allocated for visits may differ, it is advisable to review and confirm the program in advance if you have specific places you wish to see.
Tour fees generally cover transportation, accommodation, and guiding services; entry fees for museums/historical sites, cable cars, personal expenses, and lunch/dinner are often not included in the price: Clarifying what is included in the package price before going on the tour helps you anticipate any additional payments you may encounter later. This way, you can more accurately budget for museum entries, cable car fees, special activities, or meals.
Since the weather temperatures in Eskişehir and Bursa can vary depending on the season, it is recommended to bring comfortable walking shoes, layered clothing, raincoats/umbrellas, and sunscreen: As weather conditions can change during the day, especially during outdoor tours, being prepared with layered clothing is important. Having comfortable walking shoes, as well as raincoats/umbrellas for possible rain or sunny weather, and sunscreen can greatly reduce the fatigue and discomfort you may experience throughout the tour.
Given that populous and touristy areas and historic bazaars can be crowded, it is important to carry your valuables in a secure manner and to adhere to the meeting times set by the guide: To minimize the risk of getting lost, theft, or dropping belongings in crowded environments, it is safer to carry valuables such as wallets, phones, and passports in a zippered bag or a fanny pack. Adhering to the meeting times determined by the guide helps you avoid disrupting the group's schedule and allows you to proceed orderly throughout the tour without getting lost.
During the tour, it would be beneficial to have sufficient cash or cards to taste local delicacies unique to Eskişehir and Bursa (such as çiğbörek, met halva, İnegöl meatballs, chestnut candy, İskender, etc.) and to purchase local souvenirs: Trying local dishes and desserts on-site enriches your travel experience while enhancing your understanding of the culture of the cities you visit. Since card payments may not always be accepted in bazaars, inns, and small shops, it is practical to carry some cash for your food and drink expenses as well as for shopping for souvenirs like magnets, textile items, or local products.
