DAY 1: ADIYAMAN:
Together with our guide waiting for us at the airport, we start getting to know Adıyaman. Then we head to Kâhta by minibuses for the magnificent sunset. After visiting the Karakuş Tumulus, built by Antiochus I for his mother Isias, we slowly make our way to the Cendere Bridge built by the Romans. Then, after going up to the entrance of Kahta Castle and taking photos, we visit Arsemia, the summer capital of the Kingdom of Commagene, and then go up to Nemrut. We see the tumulus and god statues that the young and powerful King Antiochus of the Kingdom of Commagene had built so he could watch the sun rise from beneath his feet and set again, and we get information from our guide. You will never forget the sunset in this magical place where the sun sets most beautifully in the world. Afterwards, we go to our hotel in Urfa for accommodation.
DAY 2: URFA
DAY 1: URFA-GÖBEKLİTEPE
After having breakfast at the hotel, we turn our route to Göbeklitepe. Göbeklitepe, one of the most important archaeological discoveries in human history, dated to 12,000 years ago, profoundly shaking the truths of known written history and estimated to be the first pilgrimage center, is located in the Mesopotamia region. Göbeklitepe, one of the oldest known temples as a result of the studies carried out to date, offers data of great importance regarding religious belief in hunter-gatherer societies. Göbeklitepe, which we will examine architecturally and then socio-economically, not only provides information about how the people of that period could create a sacred area to experience beliefs that would break the mold, but also enlightens us about their religion, religious symbols, technology, and sciences.
After completing our Göbeklitepe tour, we turn back to the city center. HALİL-ÜR RAHMAN MOSQUE – AYN ZELİHA (FISH LAKE) – RIZVANİYE MOSQUE and the cave where Hz. Ibrahim was born, Sipahi Bazaar, Kazzaz Bazaar, Hacı Kamil Inn, Hüseyiniye Bazaar, Naccar Bazaar, Historic Customs Inn, Great Mosque and the Kitchen Museum and then we visit the archaeology museum and the mosaic museum. . Then we end our tour by dropping you off at the airport
