Göbeklitepe Archaeological Site
Next, we head towards Göbeklitepe, considered a groundbreaking discovery that changed human history. This fascinating area, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, features temple structures dating back to 12,000 B.C. and T-shaped monoliths which we explore under the guidance of our tour leader. At Göbeklitepe, the world’s oldest known temple complex, you will closely examine the belief systems and symbols of hunter-gatherer communities.

After our visit to Göbeklitepe, we proceed to Adıyaman and reach Nemrut Mountain National Park via Kahta. We make a brief panoramic visit to see the traces of the Commagene Kingdom at Cendere Bridge and Karakuş Tumulus, taking a short journey into the area’s ancient history. When we reach the foothills of Nemrut Mountain, we take minibuses to the summit and witness the magical atmosphere of sunrise or sunset according to the sun's position after a short walk. We take a photo break at the East and West terraces, famous for their god and king statues, and embark on an unforgettable historical journey with our guide’s insights into the Commagene civilization.

The tour starts and ends in Şanlıurfa, and the return to Şanlıurfa will take place in the evening of the tour day: Your tour will start in the morning from Şanlıurfa, and after visiting all the planned sightseeing spots during the day, you will return to Şanlıurfa in the evening. This way, you will experience a fully day-trip and practical travel experience that does not require accommodation, and you will be back in your own city by the end of the day.
