The details of which Greek islands will be visited during the tour, accommodation locations, and the day-by-day program will be shared in advance: The Greek Islands Tour will provide details about the islands to be visited, hotel information, and the daily program flow (excursions, free times, meals, transfers) to participants beforehand. This allows guests to organize their belongings, budgets, and personal plans according to this program in advance.
Schengen visa, at least 6 months valid passport, and other necessary official documents must be completed before the tour: Since Greece is a Schengen country, participants of the tour are required to have a valid Schengen visa and their passports must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the end date of the travel. Additionally, it is important to prepare all the documents required for the visa application, such as travel health insurance, population registration sample, photo, and documents showing employment/income status, in a timely manner.
Included services (transportation, accommodation, breakfast, guidance, etc.) and excluded services (visa, extra tours, personal expenses, city taxes) will be clearly stated: A detailed list of which services are included in the package price (such as transportation by plane or bus, island transfers, hotel accommodation, some meals, professional guiding) will be provided. Moreover, the visa costs, extra excursions, lunch/dinner meals, personal expenses, and local city/accommodation taxes not included in the tour price will be mentioned in advance to avoid any surprise costs later on.
Information about inter-island ferry or ship transfer times, departure-arrival hours, and meeting points at the ports will be provided: The tour program will include the estimated travel times for ferry or ship routes between the islands and detailed departure and arrival times. In order for guests to be at the right place at the right time, advance information about meeting points at each port, check-in processes, and possible waiting times will also be provided.
Information will be provided about recommended items for participants to bring (season-appropriate clothing, sunscreen, comfortable shoes, adapter, medications): Depending on the season, lightweight or layered clothing, hats, sunglasses, and high SPF sunscreen are recommended. In addition, comfortable shoes for long walks, an adapter suitable for Greek plugs, personal medications regularly used, and basic first aid supplies will be reminded before the tour.
Basic information will be provided about the local currency in Greece, credit card usage, tipping practices, and emergency contact numbers: Participants will be informed that the currency used in Greece is Euro and where credit card and ATM usage is common or limited.
